The Indigenous Theological Circle (ITC) brings together Indigenous ministers, scholars, and theological educators across denominations to strengthen Indigenous congregations and expand access to Indigenous theological education. Developed through years of listening and collaboration with elders, teachers, students, and church leaders, the Circle reflects a shared commitment to working together ecumenically with networks and partnerships.

Housed at Bexley Seabury Seminary, and funded through Lilly Endowment’s Pathways for Tomorrow Initiative, the Indigenous Theological Circle fosters relationships of trust that support Indigenous leadership, mentorship, and theological formation.

Every gift to the Indigenous Theological Circle will be matched three-to-one by the Lilly Endowment.  This means for instance, a $100 gift will be matched with an additional $300, totaling $400! Your support helps build an endowment that will sustain the Circle’s teaching, programming, and network of Indigenous ministers and scholars for generations to come.
